2K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago We are searching for an experienced Retail Manager to join our team and provide oversight of all retail and spa operations for our growing podiatry organization.
The Retail Manager sources all products sold, provides remote management of and maintains appropriate inventory at all locations and negotiates pricing to ensure optimal profits.
Weil Foot & Ankle has approximately 20 practice locations in the greater Chicagoland area, 5 locations in West Michigan, 4 locations in Virginia and one location in southeast Wisconsin.
Each location features retail merchandise available for purchase by our patients.
This position manages overall retail sales performance, inventory and staff and physician education on retail products.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site management of our flagship retail store in Mount Prospect, IL, and remotely oversee retail and spa operations across all practice locations by collaborating with local staff and leaders.
Maintain presentation of store merchandise and displays by collaborating with local staff and leaders.
Order and maintain inventory levels at all locations within each region Collaborate with and educate doctors on top-selling merchandise Assess new and current merchandise while maintaining strong vendor relationships Identify opportunities to reduce COGS Achieve annual sales goals Manage all POS systems, credit card processing Collaborate with Finance & Accounting on monthly sales and P&L statements Partner with marketing to promote retail services and products As new locations are opened across our regions, partner with the practice integration teams to launch retail services.
Distribute monthly reports to key stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in retail management.
Passion for retail and providing first-class customer service.
Strong organization and communication skills Self-directed and willing to take the initiative.
In-depth knowledge of visual merchandising & customer service Ability to adapt well to new directions and embrace change.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills; willing to roll up sleeves and pitch in with staff and doctors to solve problems.

Retail background required Requires at least three (3) years of direct job-related experience, including one year in retail management.
TRAVEL:
Must be able and willing to travel locally with reliable transportation and out of state at least 1 - 2 times quarterly.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
