We are an expanding midsized, highly profitable company doing business in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and soon Texas.
We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven Insurance Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our market presence by establishing and maintaining relationships with independent insurance agencies and offices.

This position is based in Mount Prospect, IL, with expected travel throughout IL, IN, PA, TN, & TX.
Core
Responsibilities:
Schedule and visit nonstandard independent insurance agencies to promote AFIC, collect market information, and provide feedback to management Marketing primarily to existing customer base Identify and appoint independent insurance agencies that meet AFIC's determined requirements Collaborate with management to plan and foster profitable business growth and development Negotiate terms and agreements with independent agencies Conduct training for agents and their staff, guiding them on how to navigate and utilize company software and websites Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and staff at insurance agencies Serve as the primary point of contact with agents Stay updated on our insurance products and services, as well as industry trends Other duties as assigned that may include policy/claim service processing, pricing analysis, etc.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred Bilingual Spanish Experience in Auto insurance sales, underwriting, claims, or marketing Ability to travel, with some overnight travel to meet with prospective and existing agents and brokers Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record, with a reliable vehicle Strong networking and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Quantitative analysis skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Attention to detail and high quality of work Ability to problem solve and find solutions expeditiously Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Office - Word and Excel The Position:
