What you'll be doing:
The purpose of this role is to work with stakeholders to develop and an execute Global category strategies for Corporate Services and ISIT which deliver improved value for money, reduce risk, improve quality and service as well as develop and deliver a procurement strategy and plan which meets or exceeds targets and expectations.
The successful candidate will exhibit excellent leadership and communications skills and a technical aptitude.
This category requires significant stakeholder engagement to maintain acceptance with stakeholders on a global basis.
Details about what you will be doing:
Interface with key stakeholders and senior leadership team to gain a clear understanding of the organization's strategic direction, supply requirements and business priorities.
Analyze global spend, benchmark Indirect category trends, create multi -year strategic sourcing strategies and implement programs that provide a competitive advantage to the business.
Develop, negotiate and manage contracts and suppliers for the Indirect categories through supplier scorecards, quarterly business reviews; measuring contract compliance and other key metrics to ensure targets are being met, system data is updated timely and accurately with value being delivered to the business.
Analyze and continuously monitor market and industry data and trends to ensure programs remain competitive throughout the agreement period.
Provide regular and appropriate Indirect category communications to stakeholders to ensure the business understands industry best practices, trends and Indirect category knowledge.
Interact with operational procurement teams, to identify best approach for handling operational transactions to lower administrative costs, ensure accountability, controls and drive efficienciesLead a cross-functional Indirect category team to continually assess business requirements and align supply base and resources to drive savings results for the company on a year over year basis.
Utilize available sourcing tools and technologies to conduct spend analysis, eSourcing, contract and supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing activities.
Seek alternate and innovative ideas to provide business solutions, challenge requirements and specifications to create competitive advantage.
What you'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree requiredProfessional certifications, preferred10
years in strategic sourcing with a proven track record of achieving year over year savings.
Subject matter expertise in Indirect categories, particularly ISIT.
Understanding of software/cloud licensing and contracting, as well as negotiating rates for ISIT servicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional when dealing with suppliers and senior managementKnowledge of the strategic sourcing process and practical application to sourcing projects.
Excellent presentation skillsAbility to influence internal and external stakeholdersAbility to lead and influence cross functional remote teamsStrong analytical and project management skillsStrong negotiations skillsAbility to identify problems and root causes; suggest resolutions and drive execution.
Time management, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to work globally with stakeholders across North America, Brazil and PolandProficiency in SAP Procurement modulesGood working knowledge of Strategic Sourcing software suite.
