Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Senior Advanced Process Engineer is responsible for conducting research in areas of advanced technology and development, applying advanced technical principals and concepts in developing projects and processes, and directing development of solutions to complex problems where no precedent exists and innovation is required. This position will be working on complex issues of considerable scope and will be required to apply technical principles, tools, and knowledge gained from previous work experience.
Responsibilities:
Primary technical resource for Product Management and New Product Development for Manufacturing Engineering Feasibility before New Product Development project approval (PPA), process design and development, and prototyping. Project lead for Operations Engineering Services supplier selection and basic research and development of new technologies (NT). Application of existing technologies in unique ways to benefit corporation: lead company in new assembly methods, new equipment, and new tooling. Ability to balance the cost-to-benefit ratio. Mentor associates.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required for participation as technical expert interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines. 8
years experience in Manufacturing Engineering. Fluent in English, including both speaking and writing. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
