International Customer Service Rep

€ Overall duties include but not limited to pricing/quoting, order entry, contracts administration, export control, invoicing, expediting, resolving disputes, provide order status updates, research technical questions, and warranty claims and provide other general customer support via phone and email
Review customer contracts, specifications, purchase orders, shipping instructions and other customer requirements and support documentation
Act as the primary interface between the external customer base assigned and the internal AMETEK team
Conduct regular review of quotes and orders on hold and interface with customers and colleagues for status updates, meeting departmental goals and customer expectations for timely shipment/response, days on hold and resolution follow up
Position Requirements
2+ years in international customer service or similar mix of experience and training
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using ERP systems) for quotation, order entry, pricing administration, checking availability, and invoicing
Proficient with MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment, maintain a professional demeanor in potentially stressful situations, and take a proactive approach to problem identification and issue resolution
Self-starter and internally motivated for continuous improvement
Solid organizational skills with the ability to be self-directed and relate to all levels of the organization
Experience with Salesforce.com, Export Control and Administration, Letters of Credit a strong plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
