Training Supervisor - Med D

Position Summary
The Supervisor of Training Delivery is a leadership position in Learning & Performance responsible for leading a team of Trainers to deliver effective training in a job-specific area with a focus on teaching specific areas of knowledge, skills or capabilities needed for certain positions. The Supervisor of Training Delivery will provide feedback on instructor-led courses and e-learning modules and will influence material design and development. The Supervisor will regularly communicate training progress and outcomes with leaders. The Supervisor of Training Delivery will develop short and long-term goals and will oversee all aspects of Training Delivery. The Supervisor will regularly meet with other qualified Trainers and Subject Matter Experts to determine target learning levels, audience, learning objectives, delivery methods, and training materials.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Develop a high performing team with emphasis on individual skill development, continuous improvement and standardization.
Develop short-term and long-term goals to support the business, identify and align with existing business requirements, lead change, and anticipate future business needs.
Support and collaborate with business leaders to address training needs that meet business objectives.
Establish metrics and goals for the team and define and develop areas for improvement.
Support other areas of the business by sharing best practices, providing tools, and sharing resources.
Partner with business leaders across multiple business units.
Manage training projects by developing plans for prioritizing and ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
Build and maintaining a talented team capable of delivering high quality results that are valued by the organization.
Building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization and with other business units both with business and training counterparts.
Work well with senior leaders, peers and subordinates.
Seek opportunities to enhance and expand team member ' s competencies.
Lead team to facilitate surveys and focus groups. Coordinate training programs and assess effectiveness.
Lead training of skills such as computer applications, phone systems, assembly, policies, procedures, interpersonal, etc.
Coordinate structured learning experiences outside of the classroom as needed.
Support curriculum design and development partners which may include research, development, creating and writing technical training materials that could include manuals, quick reference job aids, PowerPoint presentations and other training support materials.
Travel when warranted. Up to 30-50% travel may be required.
Perform other duties as required.

PBM industry knowledge preferred.
Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to provide effective coaching and feedback.

Excellent coordination, scheduling, problem solving, time management, attention to detail and organization skills.
Strong analytical skills to include the ability to collect, organize, evaluate and present data and make recommendations to improve programs.
Basic understanding of human performance improvement methodology.
Is proactive and has strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to support multiple programs simultaneously and can effectively prioritize.
Fosters a non-threatening and supportive team and training environment.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and provide successful results.
Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans.
Ability to effectively lead the delivery and training of multi-faceted program material.
Ability to lead collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and with remote team members.
Familiarity with conferencing tools, e-learning software, learning management systems, SharePoint, screen capture and other training productivity tools and strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of adult learning principles and sound instructional design practices in order to help connect reporting and analytics to recommendations.
